Issue/Introduction

Custom Report/Out of the box report throws the following error message in Advanced Reporting

The server has encountered an error. Please excuse the inconvenience. 

Error Message

Null URI.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Update the input control/option for the Project Details (Populate project)
  2. Click the Refresh icon

Results: Receive the following error message:

Release : All Supported Releases

Component : CA PPM JASPERSOFT

Resolution

User level:

  1. Clear browser cache
  2. Clear the 'Temp' folders on the workstation and remove the temporary files by removing all the temp files from %TEMP% directory.
  3. If there is LB used to manager the clarity cluster environment then session persistence should be enabled on the LB.

If the above doesn't help (SaaS Customers, please contact Broadcom support for assistance)

  1. On the JasperSoft tomcat server:
  • Clear the 'Temp' & 'Work' folders and remove the temporary files by removing all the temp files from %TEMP% directory.

     2. If the problems persists, flush the cache at Load Balancer layer as well; especially if its not cleared on regular bases.
