TDM Unable to embed a query which is longer than 4000 chars in length into Data Painter.

Issue/Introduction

Navigated to the Data Definition for the Data Table and added a query in data painter which is more than length of 4000 and it is giving below error

"String is too Long Go back and Edit"

Please suggest how to increase the length as it is not allowing to increase the space more than 8000 i.e. Varchar (8000)

Queries will be very long i.e. length more than 4000 as it is a part of clients requirement.

As per Engineering, if this is due to a hard coded limitation and how to get around it. Use TDM Portal, and not Datamaker if you want to get around the limitation. Portal does not have the same limitation that DataMaker has
