SYSVIEW Performance Management NXBRIDGE - SYSVIEW/ENDEVOR

Issue/Introduction

We are migrating from R15 to R16.

How will we know when someone's profile has been converted from Dsn-System-PROFILE
sysview
.CNM4BPRF to Dsn-System-PROFLIB
sysview
.CNM4BPDL?

Can Dsn-System-PROFLIB
sysview
.CNM4BPDL be shared between mulitple LPARs in the same plex?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : SYSVIEW

Resolution

A1) Issue the command PROFLIST UserId (Where UserId is a valid UserId).

When a profile has been converted, the returned display will show in the Heading area the Last UpdateDate/Time and the UserId.

If the profile has not been converted it will display in the Heading area the Last UpdateDate/Time and the release such as SYSV150

A2) From the r16.0 documentation located here:

for the System Configuration Options:

Specifies the data set name of the profile library.
Valid values: Any valid data set name.
Default value: NOT.DEFINED.SYSVIEW.CNM4BPRF
Sharing: This data set can be shared with multiple instances of SYSVIEW and across systems. If profile data set is allocated as a PDS, it can be shared across multiple sysplexes. If profile data set is allocated as a PDSE, it can only be shared within a single sysplex.
