Discovery profiles not displaying in Performance Center.

Too many profiles were created causing the call for the list to daHostname:8581/rest/discoveryprofiles to fail with a 413 entity too large error code.

Release : 3.7

Component : IM Reporting / Admin / Configuration

1. You can make a filtered REST call like below to get a list of discovery profile names and ids:

curl --header "Content-Type: application/xml" --request POST --data '<FilterSelect xmlns:xsi="" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="filter.xsd"><Select use="exclude" isa="exclude"><Item><Name use="include"/></Item></Select></FilterSelect>' --url http://daHostname:8581/rest/discoveryprofiles/filtered

2. Once you have the list of profiles, sort through them and determine which ones you want to remove and make note of the itemid for them:

3. To remove the marked profiles make DELETE calls to the profile's specific endpoint, for example:

curl -X DELETE http://daHostname:8581/rest/discoveryprofiles/6876

Where 6876 is the itemid found in step 2.  The above call would delete the Discovery Profile with an itemid of 6876
