Endpoint Protection 14.3 Web Console logins fail

When logging into the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) Web Console the following errors are displayed:

Initializing, please wait...
HTTP request to https://SEPMIP:8443/console/apps/sepm hasn't gotten a response.
This is likely to cause issues with text sizing and display.
Please make sure that your server configuration doesn't restrict HTTP requests to SEPMIP:8443https://SEPMIP:8443/console/apps/sepm.
