Error "Cannot set the correct ownership on /home/dsa for dsa" on EEM installation

Issue/Introduction

When we try to install common components EEM, we get the following messages in the "eiam-install.log" file:

 Cannot set the correct ownership on /home/dsa for dsa


 Please check that the dsa user is a part of the appropriate users group.

Release : 11.3.6

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)

Resolution

The encountered problem was related to the "dsa" user not having a home directory.

Resolved by updating dsa user to have a home directory.
