We have Output Management Web Viewer for Windows 12.1 running in our environment.
Our Linux team is planning to move OM Web Viewer to our Linux environment.
When we spoke with you, we were asked to apply LMP KEY Output Management Web Viewer for Linux.
I checked the LMP keys for Output Management Web Viewer for Windows, I see it is 4Q, but that is not applied earlier. Our Listener CA DRAS/CCITCP is running fine. Do we need to apply LMP Key 4Q for Output Management Web Viewer on Linux? Please confirm.
If you are using the same DRAS you used with 12.1 Web Viewer for Windows Server, you do NOT need to apply a separate LMP Key 4Q for OM Web Viewer 12.1 for Linux PC or Linux zSeries.
Because OM Web Viewer can run on a variety of platforms (Windows, USS, Linux zSeries and Linux PC, to name a few) the license was changed to an LMP Key which gets installed on the primary DRAS used by that 12.1 Web Viewer install, making DRAS the license server. The DRAS license server does not care what platform OM Web Viewer is running - it uses 4Q LMP Key in DRAS regardless.
