We have CA Output Management Web Viewer for Windows 12.1 running in our environment.
Our Linux team is planning to move Web Viewer to our Linux environment.
When we spoke with CA, we were asked to apply LMP KEY 4Q for CA Output Management Web Viewer for Linux.
I checked the LMP keys for CA Output Management Web Viewer for Windows, I see it is 4Q, but that is not applied earlier. Our Listener CA DRAS/CCITCP is running fine. Do we need to apply LMP Key 4Q for CA Output Management Web Viewer on Linux? Please confirm.
Release : 12.1
Component : CA OUTPUT MANAGEMENT WEB VIEWER FOR ALL PLATFORMS
If you are using the same DRAS you used with 12.1 Web Viewer for Windows Server, you do NOT need to apply a separate LMP Key 4Q for 12.1 Web Viewer for PC Linux or zLinux.
Because 12.1 Web Viewer can run on a variety of platforms (Windows, USS, zLinux and PC Linux, to name a few) the license was changed to an LMP Key which gets installed on the primary DRAS used by that 12.1 Web Viewer install, making DRAS the license server. The DRAS license server does not care on what platform 12.1 Web Viewer is running - it uses 4Q LMP Key in DRAS regardless.
