CA Datacom COMM STATUS shows +:++ on NOT ACTIVE tasks

Issue/Introduction

CA Datacom COMM STATUS or CA Sysview DCTASKS command shows a duration of  +:++ on NOT ACTIVE tasks when longer than 10 minutes.

Resolution

PTF RO96252 introduced an enhancement for tasks in TASK ACTIVE and NOT ACTIVE status.

COMM STATUS or CA Sysview DCTASKS command will now display the duration the task was in that status, it displays it at the end of the status field. The format for each status is:

TASK ACTIVE :ss
NOT ACTIVE m:ss

The maximum duration that can be displayed is limited by the size of the status field which is 15 characters. Once it reaches the limit of what it can display it will show +:++ or :++

The duration display on the status field can be suppressed with DIAGOPTION 16,1,ON, see Article 71647
