Issue/Introduction

I would be interested to know if there is any way to configure the logging of Vantage GMI(vantage-gmi.log in the logs directory of the webserver).
What I mean is not only to change the location of the logfiles but for example automatic splitting per server restart and the further automatic deletion of older log files.
Is there somewhere a configuration option to do this or must this be made manually?
What I fear is that this log file is getting bigger and bigger over time and can be hardly managed.

Cause

Log files fill up directory.

Resolution

Thank you for raising this question! Tomcat does not do any housekeeping on these files that needs to be manually deleted.
In the future release of the CA Vantage Web Client will try to address this to automate the process.
