Issue/Introduction

As long as Jobtrac is not shut down with a BACK, then triggered events will run as indicated in  AMR once Jobtrac is back up.

Environment

Release : 11.0

Component : JOBTRAC

Resolution

An AMR table remains in main storage even when Jobtrac is shut down.  As long as Jobtrac is not shut down with a BACK, then triggered events will run as indicated in  AMR once Jobtrac is back up.  The following message will appear in the syslog for any event that should be triggered from an AMR entry if Jobtrac is down.

TRAC029A - MSG TRIGGER PENDING - CA-JOBTRAC NOT  OPERATIONAL

Below is information on this message from the Message guide.

TRAC029A - MSG TRIGGER PENDING - CA-JOBTRAC NOT  OPERATIONAL
Reason: A message trigger has been issued by the AMR function. However, the CA
Jobtrac JM started task is not active to process the trigger.

Action: None. However, the trigger will stay in the system as pending until the CA
Jobtrac JM started task is started.

As always, please contact Broadcom support for Jobtrac Job Management if you have further questions.
