Issue/Introduction

You want to know how to find End of Service (EoS) or End of Life (EoL) dates for one or more Groupware products like below:

1. Symantec Protection Engine (SPE)
2. Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange (SMSMSE or MSME)
3. Symantec Protection for SharePoint Servers (SPSS)
4. Cloud Workload Protection for Storage (CWP for Storage)

End of Service (EOS) dates by versions

Resolution

End of Service dates can be found on the Product Lifecycle page in the Support Portal using these steps below.

  1. Login to https://support.broadcom.com/group/ecx/productlifecycle
  2. In the Search Product Name text box, enter Protection Engine (no quotes).
  3. Select Protection Engine for NAS (or other desired product) from the dropdown list.
  4. Click Show Results button.
  5. Scroll down to the Release you're interested in and review the End of Service and/or End of Life date(s).
