We want to migrate from CA API Gateway V9.4 to Layer7 API Gateway V10
To do this, we have also to run the Step: Virtual Machine Re-image
But after the ReImage the Network configuration of our V9.4 Gateway is lost.
From our point of view we assumed that the ReImage also overtakes the current network configuration.
But this won't happen. What's going wrong? Why does the ReImage not overtake the network configuration?
Do we have to do some special things that it will work?
We follow the description of the Expedited Upgrade Procedure (including the description of Virtual Machine Re-image) out of the V10 manual.

Release : 10.0

Component : API GATEWAY

Please see Note at https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/layer7-api-management/api-gateway/10-0/install-configure-upgrade/upgrade-the-gateway/virtual-machine-reimage.html

When we re-image the existing installation is wiped clean, nothing is preserved, and new OVA image is installed over.

The customers will need to Configure system settings for the new image before they move into gateway configuration/migration.

Please see https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/layer7-api-management/api-gateway/10-0/install-configure-upgrade/configure-the-appliance-gateway.html#concept.dita_bf41813ece655bbb5d897a35ac67056f55cdd596_ConfigureaVirtualAppliance

Once re-imaged we need to confirm the ##2,3 and then run #5-7 before starting the Gateway setup and migration.

Please NOTE network interfaces changes introduced with CentOS7:

We need to update our TechDoc.
