Issue/Introduction
Running the wa_setup installer on Linux server and it fails at the stage where it attempts to connect to the application scheduler host.
Linux server is a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.8 (Maipo)
Uses Firewall-cmd and port 7163 and 7520 have been opened.
Application Scheduler Host is a Windows server.
Windows Server 2016 Standard 64bit

Resolution
It actually uses TCP so and AFM to communicate to the Scheduler Manager. So it does not use ICMP for request/response.
All the ports needed to be bi-directional because it works based on RRP - Request Response Protocol. As far as i know on top of my head ICMP is not used by these ports.
