Issue/Introduction

In the Investigator

*SupperDomain*|Custom Metric Host(Virtual)|Custom Metric Process(Virtual)|Custom Metric Agent(Virtual)Enterprise Manager|Internal|AlertID

If Total Numbers of this Alert ID  Metrics  are huge ->  Then how to delete them to avoid any performance issue on EM ?





Cause

The Number of  alerts configured in APM EM environment generally generate this alert IDs.

 

Environment

APM 10.x 

 

Resolution

The Number of  alerts configured APM environment will generate these alert ids .

So check Alert metric Count and Alert ID metric count under Introscope internal Node . Both the numbers should display same .

These are  basically the active alerta . So if you need to remove Alert IDs please remove  unnecessary  active alerts. In case Alerts ID metrics generated by old/disabled metrics should be clear through normal metric tiering.
