Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to 12.3 from a version that did not utilize the Java Communication Processes for indexing or the installation of the Automation Engine on a new node, the JCP's throw forced trace with the following error:

IndexNotFoundException: no segments* file found in NIOFSDirectory@automic/bin/indexCache/12.3 lockFactory=org.apache.lucene.store.NativeFSLockFactory@5534d0ff: files: [write.lock]

Release : 12.3

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Cause

This error is thrown due to attempting an advanced search before indexing is complete.

Resolution

There is no impact or resolution at this point. This can be ignored.

Automation Engine 12.3.4
