Issue/Introduction

Being in the process of adding threes PTFS  to SYSVIEW release.

 

Applying the PTFs  and copied the dataset into the production versions. 

 

Testing is doing well on a clone system but when trying to view CICS activity, getting the warning message:

 

CICS004W CICS monitor is not active 

 

Is this something that could have been caused by the PTF's ?

Resolution

This can happen when customized members of the PARMLIB have been overwritten in the process of copying of new copy of the PARMLIB into the existing library.   

Review the parmlib members to ensure that any customization has been retained.
