CA Performance Management - Usage and Administration

Issue/Introduction

A fresh install of CA Performance Management.

When tries to open the following URL, it is redirected to an invalid IP address: http://DA_host:8581/odataquery

This site can't be reached
192.168.122.1 took too long to respond
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Cause

Invalid IP Address is defined in the SsoConfig (Single Sign-On Configuration) tool for the Web Service Host.

Environment

Resolution

Follow these steps:

 

1) On the Performance Center host, navigate to the /opt/CA/PerformanceCenter/ directory.

cd /opt/CA/PerformanceCenter

2) Launch the SsoConfig (Single Sign-On Configuration) tool.

./SsoConfig

3) Select the option 1 (CA Performance Center).

Enter q to quit the program or b to go back to previous menu

SSO Configuration:
1. CA Performance Center
Choose an option > 1

4) Select the option 3 (Performance Center).

SSO Configuration/CA Performance Center:
1. LDAP Authentication
2. SAML2 Authentication
3. Performance Center
4. Single Sign-On
5. Test LDAP
6. Export SAML2 Service Provider Metadata
7. Enable FIPS
8. Performance Center Local Password Authentication
9. Enable or Disable a user account.
Choose an option > 3

5) Select the option 1 (Remote Value).

Allow Performance Center in a frame: Enabled
Custom HTTP headers to be added to our responses:

6) Select option 2 (Web Service Host).

7) Type u to update the Web Service Host field.

Property: Web Service Host (Remote Value)
Value:
Example: 192.168.9.12
Description: This field specifies the URL host that the Single Sign-On application can use to access the Performance Center web service.
Enter r to reset the value, u to update to new value > u

8) Supply the CA PC IP address.

Enter \q to quit or \b to go back to previous menu
Enter new value > 10.0.1.12

9) Type q to quit

11) The OpeApi QueryBuilder page should be loaded successfully.
