Issue/Introduction

There is mismatch between the IBM SDSF Display Active (DA) and the SYSVIEW SYSTEM ACTIVITY (ACT) screens when displaying the value of Dispatching Priority (DP) for a job/STC: while SYSVIEW is constantly showing a fixed value of FF, at the same time the dispatching priority correctly gets different values on SDSF DA screen for the same job.

Cause

Customer uses VTAM to access SYSVIEW and MVSDATA-JESNODES Schedule was disabled. 

Resolution

Enable MVSDATA-JESNODES Schedule 

Additional Information

To enable schedule use SCHED command in SYSVIEW, then use ENA command in front of following schedule MVSDATA-JESNODES.
