Monitoring Scheduled Discovery in CA UIM

Issue/Introduction

We have a discovery schedule that is set to run every Sunday at a certain hour, its a huge range and the discovery usually runs upto 12 hours. Can we monitor this discovery and alert us in case the discovery ended abruptly?

Resolution

You could try monitor the discovery log via logmon but we would recommend breaking up that discovery job into smaller jobs/individual ranges so it doesnt take that long. There are chances for overwritten / huge logs that could create additional issues.
