Issue/Introduction

Old versions of objects are not being deleted by the unload process.

Version Management objects that should be removed from the database by the Reorg/Unload process according to the retention criteria in UC_UTILITY_REORG are still present.

Environment

Release : 12.3

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Cause

The reorganization of Version Management objects can be blocked by the status of the Revision Report of the object.

Resolution

There are 2 possible solutions:

1. In the UC_CLIENT_SETTINGS > UC_UTILITY_REORG set OBJECT_AUDIT = TRUE 0012 FALSE

The last values set to FALSE will allow reorganization of objects that have not yet been treated by the Revision Report Utility.

Subsequently, disable Version management and then re-enable it and re-run the Reorg/Unload procedure twice to resolve remove the old Version Management objects.

2. Run the Revision Report utility regularly with the -X -A options, this will make sure that the Archive flags are set for the XAO records so they can be reorganized and removed.
