Issue/Introduction


Endevor batch job is ending with a  RC=0008 on the NDVRBAT step for the program NDVRC1. Below is the message at C1MSGS1 for RC=0008.

In other cases when executing any element when moving element from D1 to D2 also, the execute process is giving a RC = 0008. Why is the job failing with the NDVRC=0008

The SMGR123C message will produce a RC=8 - To change the  SMGR123C to always return a W level which would be a RC=4 a modification to the TYPE DEFINITION Panel nee PNGSRC.

Below is an example of a type def screen that has the REGRESSION SEVERITY (REG SEV) set to C which produced the RC=8. If you want to get a rc=4 set the REG SEV to W.
