CA Identity Manager CA Identity Governance CA Identity Portal CA Identity Suite

Issue/Introduction

A specific issue has been identified whereby some events appear as "in-progress" in the Task Persistence DB.  These are historic events that originated from a previous CA Identity Manager production crash.

Having consulted the below knowledge article, it is recommended that the events are set to status '256' (canceled) and are then purged from the DB using the garbageCollectTaskPersistence stored procedure.  However, these events persist after the stored procedure is executed.

Environment

The issue was resolved by updating the initiatorid to NULL and state to 256, and running the GarbageCollector stored procedure.
