Error with GhostCast. Getting: Encountered an improper argument.

Issue/Introduction

Running GhostSrv.exe (under ...\Program Files (x86)\Altiris\eXpress\Deployment Server\Ghost) if you try to "Create Image" with GhostCast Server, when you click on "Accept Clients" an error window appears saying:

"Encountered an improper argument."

Cause

Known issue. 

Resolution

Our Broadcom Development team has been informed about this issue. So far, it is only present with the GSS 3.3 RU4 release.

Workaround:
Create a dummy .gho file:
Create a text file (test.txt for example) on the folder where you are planning to save the image file and rename it to test.gho and select it as Image file.
When you get the "Confirm Save As" window saying "test.gho already exists. Do you want to replace it?", select "Yes".

Additional Information

It is recommended to upgrade to the latest version of GSS to avoid further issues
