DX Spectrum - Limitation of Global Collections in Spectrum One click

Issue/Introduction

Is there any limitation of number Global Collections in Spectrum One Click.

Environment

Release : 10.X

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

The performance of the One Click depends on the number of Dynamic Global Collections used.

User should always follow the system requirement guide & give additional memory then the Minimum required for best performance.

Resolution

 As long as they are not real time GC, they can add more, but the larger the GC and the more complex searches, the longer it will take to update.   Overall the limitation with GCs are OC webserver memory, so it may be worth checking the current Webserver memory before adding a lot of new   GCs.

 

> Open OC Admin page, Administrator > Web Server Memory > Check how much has been assigned.
