Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to Applications Manager 9.3.1 or 9.3.2, users are unable to change their own password from the client if the password is expired.

An error is thrown, however the prompt to change password does not show up.

ORA-20122: Login password has expired

Environment

Applications Manager 9.3.2

Resolution

Work Around:

Step 1. Your Applications Manager administrator needs to change your password manually in your user account:

Object Admin> Administration> Users> select user > Edit> Enter password> Apply.

Step 2. 

 Your Applications Manager administrator needs to change the following Automation Engine options are selectable from the Password sub-tab, and ensure they are un-checked:

Object Admin> Administration> Agents> Select Master's Agent> Edit> Automation Engine Options Tab> Password sub-tab.

1. Force password change on new users

2. Force password change if reset by another user

Solution:

This is resolved in Applications Manager 9.3.3.
