Issue/Introduction

Two CICS Regions were moved from one LPAR to two others, one on each.   The moved CICS Regions are now being displayed dynamically under the new LPAR's on the their CICSLIST but are also being displayed on the old LPAR that they came from with a status of INACTIVE.   The issue is how can the INACTIVE CICS Regions be removed from the CICSLIST command listing under the old LPAR.

Environment

Release : 14.2

Component : SYSVIEW

Resolution

* The list of CICS regions using the CICSLIST command is dynamic displayed so CICS regions that were moved to other LPAR's are now displayed under the new LPAR without any intervention.

*  The CICS Region on the old LPAR's will show as INACTIVE on the CICSLIST command until the next IPL.  Then after the IPL they will then no longer be displayed on the old LPAR CICSLIST.

*  During the period until your next system IPL of the old LPAR, you can use the following command after the issuance of the CICSLIST command to temporarily eliminate displaying the INACTIVE regions from the CICS region list:  SELECT STATUS NE INACTIVE
