Imposing a CICS Time Out

Issue/Introduction

Internal audit has determined that users accessing CICS from Green Screen are not being asked to re-authenticate after 20 minutes. How can we impose a CICS lock-time or logoff parameter for these users?

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

When using TSS timeout, set  LOCKTIME control option for the FACILITY.

FAC(facilityname=LOCKTIME=nn)

If using CICS timeout, then set OPTIME for the user via TSS ADD(acid) OPTIME(nnnn).
