Clarity: Read Only and Secure Lookup attribute can be edited in Modern Ux

Issue/Introduction

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 

1. Login to Clarity using administration priviledge 
2. Navigate to Administration --> Objects 
3. Search for Project Object and create a lookup attribute (example: Readonly Lookup)
4. On the lookup attribute ensure to check VALUE REQUIRED, PRESENCE REQUIRED and READ-ONLY
5. Fill the API ATTRIBUTE ID to ensure it shows up in the modern ux 
6. Navigate to Modern UX using the same administration priviledge
7. Navigate to Modern Ux --> Administration --> Attributes
8. Secure the Attribute (example: Readonly Lookup) by checking the secure checkbox 
9. Add the lookup attribute (example: Readonly Lookup) on the Project details page 
10.Try to edit the lookup attribute (example: Readonly Lookup) and click outside you will see the value as Blank and shows "This field is required"

Expected Results:Since this is Read only and Secure Lookup attribute it shouldn't be allowed to edit 

Actual Results: On the page the attribute is allowed to be edited but the values are not changed since its a read only attribute

Resolution

This defect has been fixed in upcoming version 15.8.1
