UMA agent for OpeShift reporting projects data under wrong branch

Issue/Introduction

Using Openshift application with UMA Agent - have applied latest agent version (20.4.0.17) but agents are reporting the project data under a branch Kubernetes and not OpenShift - using 20.1 agent this did not happen.

Environment

Release : 20.4.0.17

Component : APM Agents

Resolution

The yaml file used to deploy did not contain the type and cluster name sections as shown below

      serviceAccountName: uma

      containers:

      - name: clusterinfo

        image: docker-registry.default.svc:5000/caapm/universalmonitoragent:latest

        env:

          - name: type

            value: Openshift

 

          - name: cluster_name

            valueFrom:

              configMapKeyRef:

                name: caaiops-config-common

 

Once added and redeployed the data reported under the OpenShift branch
