ems probe created a 60GB log file and failed to start

Issue/Introduction

The ems probe was running with loglevel 7 and seems to have ignored the logsize key of 102400 and created a 60GB log file. I can only assume that it was trying to recycle its log file and there was enought disk space to do that and it failed. We could not started ems so i saved the last 5000 lines from the log file and deleted the 60GB file. I reset the loglevel to 0 and logfile size to 50000 and the restarted the probe and it has been running ever since without issue.

Please find attached the last 5000 lines of the log file to look at to see if you can determine the reason this happened. I did think it might be something to do with loglevel 7 but was told by the developer that it was not.

Resolution

Deploy the package using the Admin Console. Set loglevel to 7 and logsize to 102400 and it started up and worked without any issues whatsoever. No large files were generated/in the directory.
