Issue/Introduction

Description:

This document states whether or not multiple input Datastores can be copied into an output Datastore using the PDTDSCPY job.

Solution:

The PDTDSCPY job can only copy 1 input Datastore into an output Datastore. If the job is run more than once using a different input Datastore each time, the contents of the output Datastore will be overlaid for each run by the input Datastore named in the IVCAT/IDST parameters. If multiple Datastores (IVCAT/IDST parameters) are entered into the SYSIN DD card, the last IVCAT/IDST Datastore will be copied into the output Datastore.
