TSS9015E ERROR 43 DURING SECURITY FILE INITIALIZATION Starting Top Secret With Backup Files

Issue/Introduction

When trying to start Top Secret using the backup BDAM file and a REPRO’d (from VSAMBKUP) VSAM file, the following error is received and Top Secret doesn't come up:

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

The backup file did not have the same DCB information as the primary file. Allocate new backup files (BDAM and VSAM) for that system, take a backup, then re-test starting Top Secret using the backup files.
