Issue/Introduction

For controlling spectrum whether domain admin account or local admin account is required ?.

Release : 10.X

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Resolution

The Spectrum Install Owner account in Windows could be either local account or Domain (Active Directory) account,
the domain account must belong to Local Administrator account.

The domain account must be member of Local Administrator account.

For a Windows installation, enter a username that has administrator rights, and verify the domain name (if applicable).
For Linux installation, enter a username with root access. Or, you can use a sudoersfile for root permissions.

Note : If you have root access when starting this installation, you are not prompted for a user name and password. Ensure that usernames do not exceed 16 characters.
