Resolution

When restarting a job using the SET PARM DATA FOR RMS AND RESUBMIT, the user is required to enter the restart step in the following format:

-- X -- SET PARM DATA FOR RMS AND RESUBMIT
        PARM: 'R,STEP4,RE=/THIS IS A TEST RUN/

Additional considerations:

If REASON=YES is specified in the CA 7 Initialization File, the REASON field towards the top of the XRST panel must be acknowledged before exiting the panel. Data entered in the REASON filed will display in the LRLOG output. Data entered in the REASON for PARM data will display in the job's joblog.

If REASON=PROMPT is specified in the U11OPT macro, you must pass a reason in your parm data. If no reason is specified, the job being restarted will generate a U11-007 WTOR and the user must reply to the outstanding WTOR.
