Issue/Introduction
Is CA Common Services using the SSI exit IEFJFRQ?
Environment
Release : 14.1, 15.0
Component : CCS390 - CA COMMON SERVICES FOR Z/OS
Resolution
The IEFJSREQ exit point is used by CAMASTER for SSI CMD processing looking for specific CAMASTER commands. The CAIENF component also front ends IEFJSREQ to drive various CA products that may registered to receive control during selected SSI requests. CAIENF may also gain control for SSI requests for it's own internal processing.
If not running ENF then the IEFJSREQ front end is not installed. There is no way to not install the CAMASTER IEFJSREQ EXIT.
