Give single user read access to all files on server

Issue/Introduction

Other than making a user id an OPERATOR in PIM, is their any other way to give read access to all files to a user?

Component : CA ControlMinder

Resolution

In short, yes you could do it another way, but you would have to use rules to allow access to any files that are otherwise protected by PIM to that user.
