Users belonging to the Administrators group are unable to update the Global Settings in the DSM Reporter as it is grayed out.

This problem has been seen on Windows 2008.

Due to changes in UAC in Win2008, users under the Administrators group that are not the local Administrator are not allowed to access the registry keys where the Global Settings are stored.

The solution is to start the DSM-Reporter from the Start menu by right clicking and selecting "Run as Administrator".

An Enhancement Request has been raised to make the necessary changes in the DSM-Reporter for better compliance with UAC.
