Cannot execute an Endevor Package getting invalid selection

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to execute an Endevor package in the upper right corner of the screen an error "INVALID SELECTION" is being issued

Release : 18.0

Component : CA Endevor Software Change Manager

Resolution

The Package was still in the status of "In-Approval" - This information was found in the CONRPT72 (Package detail report) - Based on the example below the package DV004 someone from REG07COB approver group needs to approve the package before it can be executed.

To look at the package in foreground. Go into your environment, then 5 for Package, then 1 for display and enter the package name. The package information will be displayed: 

Note that the status is In-Approval. Type A on the command line to "DISPLAY APPROVERS".

In this case the there is a Quorum of 2, and no one has approved it.  If you want to review the approver group, type and S next to ENV1 and hit enter. 

If the approver group is an internal group, it will show the approvers and if approvers are required or not. If the Approver Group is external, no users will be displayed.  If assistance is needed in getting the package approved, reach out to the local Endevor Admin for assistance in contacting the approvers.
