Issue/Introduction

Problems with the Vertica Node during the backup process, the node became down

Environment

Release : 3.6

Component : IM Reporting / Admin / Configuration

Resolution

related with a bug already reported with Vertica TEAM (VER-68903), noticed a node mix-up in the object restore/replication that lead to creating storages on EXECUTOR and STANDBY nodes, this can happen when restoring objects to another database or replicating.

The object restore or replicate in the cluster that have standby or execute node crashes destination cluster's node, the bug has been solved under 9.1, we recommend to proceed with an Vertica upgrade highly.

Please Upgrade the CAPM to 3.7.x version, we recommend apply the latest version 3.7.12.
