Primary SpectroSERVER Issue - Unknown - Switched to Secondary

Issue/Introduction

The customer is running in a DSS with a fault tolerant server and the are seeing the 0x10c09 event that the landscape is switching from the secondary
to the primary for no apparent reason. 

 

Environment

Release : 10.3

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

The  Secondary SpectroSERVER could NOT determine its role and would act as Primary for couple of mins and hence we see the problem. And reason for the delay in detecting Fault Tolerant Role is because the Secondary SpectroSERVER is waiting on Model Activation to be ready and to start a connection to Primary.

Resolution

This issue is resolved by setting wait_active=no in the .vnmrc file and installing BMP 202 for Spectrum 10.3.2.
