Actual costs do not match between cost plan and hierarchy tab

Issue/Introduction

The Actual costs on the hierarchy page show a greater amount than the cost plan.

Environment

Release : 15.6

 

Cause

This may be due to the fact that there are actual transactions (posted in WIP) outside the dates of the cost plan.

Resolution

Check the transactions dates for the transactions and make sure the cost plan dates cover the whole date range of the transactions.

The hierarchy tab does not clip the actual costs to the cost plan dates.  It shows them all.
