Upgrading option file values from release 6.4 to release 11.5

Issue/Introduction

Summary of steps needed for the release 11.5 option file after upgrading from release 6.4.

 

Environment

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.5

Resolution

To get the EZTINI to include the DSN for the EZOPTBL release 11.5 option file,

1. Run JOB06EOP with LOADINI=00 and //LOADDEF.SYSIN set to CREATEFILE
2. Run MOV64OPT to move the values from release 6.4 to release 11.5 EZOPTBL
3. COPY your EZTPOPT module from release 6.4 to release 11.5 CAILIB for compatibility mode.
   The EZTPOPT module we supply contains only the default values.
