Issue/Introduction

A restore of a file from a CMS minidisk fails. A restore in Shared File System is correctly processed. 


The restore requests a tape, it's mounted as 180.
The log only shows the warning that the 180 is detached.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
SYBLIST minidisk restore to RDR requests fail with RC=16 and the requested file(s) are not restored to the destination user's RDR.
 
SYMPTOMS:
Submitting a minidisk restore job to restore a file(s) to RDR fails with RC=16 and the files cannot be restored. The LG file shows the following:

IMPACT:
Unable to restore files from a minidisk to a user's RDR. The files must be restored the original minidisk or another minidisk.
 
CIRCUMVENTION:
Change the restore job to restore the files back to the original minidisk or to another minidisk. Then, if needed, use the CMS SENDFILE command to place a copy of the restored file(s) in the destination user's RDR.
