Unable to see alarms on Spectrum OneClick Server

Issue/Introduction

I am able to login to The Spectrum OneClick Server and see events but there are 0 Alarms.

Checking Spectrum Administration > Debug > Alarm Table shows:  Alarm Table 0 alarms.

Environment

Release : All

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Resolution

  • Verify Name resolution from the Spectrum Server to the OneClick Server is working correctly.
  • Verify you can communicate from Spectrum Server to the OneClick Server over TCP Port 14001.
  • Run a netstat on the Spectrum Server and verify there is an established connection from Spectrum Server to One Click Server over TCP Port 14001.

If there is no established connection check the following on the problematic One Click Server administration page and correct as needed:

OneClick Web Page ~~> Administration ~~> SPECTRUM Configuration > ORB Properties

Additional Information

The CORBA port the Spectrum Server uses to connect back to OneClick to send alarms is TCP Port 14001.
