Issue/Introduction

Error message when using ./ucybsmcl -c GET_PROCESS_LIST command to get a list of running processes on Linux :

Please check at least one of the following conditions are met.
        *) Set CAPKIHOME environment variable.
        *) Pass valid second parameter to etpki_lib_init function. Ex: if the second parameter is /a/b/c/[lib]cryptocme2.[dll][so][sl], it is assumed that /a/b/c has all the required CAPKI shared libraries

Cause

Cause: By design

Resolution

1. Installing  CAPKI will resolve the issue.

2. If you don't want to use CAPKI, make the following changes:

Set the SMGR_SUPPORT_LEGACY_SECURITY in UC_SYSTEM_SETTINGS to Y

NOTE: if CAPKI is not installed, the warning will still be present, but can be ignored as it does not affect running processes.

 

Additional Information

If the service manager is being launched as a daemon, please make sure that the /etc/profile.CA is being sourced before launching the service manager in the script, else you will get this error in the service manager log:
