XOG Performance Degradation in DEV Environment

Issue/Introduction

For the past few months, file imports via XOG in our DEV environment have been taking 8 to 10 times as long as the same file takes in TEST or PROD.  I've been ignoring it, but I've finally decided to create a ticket about it.

I've attached 4 XML files for your information.  The largest file is the uploaded file itself.  The other 3 are the XOG response files in the 3 environments.  A summary is:

DEV: 5 minutes, 42.728 seconds
TEST: 39.234 seconds
PROD: 49.879 seconds

All 3 imports succeeded, with no failure records.

What could be causing DEV to perform so poorly?  It's a mystery.  And it's not a priority -- since it's DEV, it's more annoyance than anything, so this ticket could probably be a P4.

NOTE: This is not a 15.7.1 upgrade issue -- this was happening long before we upgraded from 15.6.1 to 15.7.1.

Any advice/solutions you can offer will be much appreciated!

Resolution

Restored Production database to Development.
