DUAS - Reporter "Start Date" explanation (Starting vs Running status)

Issue/Introduction

The START DATE displayed on the reporter does not match the "real" start date of the Uproc (in the Job runs).

Cause

The START DATE on the reporter matches the moment the Uproc went in the "Starting" status on the node.

The "Starting" status is a transition state between "LAUNCH WAIT" (Uproc waiting for its launch Window) and "EVENT WAIT" (Uproc waiting for the dependencies).

It has nothing to do with the "RUNNING" status which is displayed in the Jobs Runs window.

Resolution

Not an issue. The start date in the reporter is the uprocs go to "Starting", which is a transition state before going to EVENT_WAIT and then RUNNING.
