Can you connect ARD to an Atlassian Data Center version or is it Atlassian Cloud only?

Issue/Introduction

We want to connect ARD To JIRA. In order to establish the connection, we want to know the details around this.

Can you pls help:

Resolution

This is not supported at this time. For Jira I believe it's the same, so long as it's the same API - like Zephyr cloud for example is a different API from their plugin version. However, SSO is not valid.

Agile Requirements Designer

 is able to connect to instances of Atlassian JIRA that are cloud-based and on-premise based. You can import from and export work items to Atlassian JIRA. When you export Paths to JIRA, you can update 'child' issues. A child issue is an issue that has a JIRA link to a top-level issue. The parent-child relationships are defined based on the drop-downs in 

General Configuration, Connectors Options, Atlassian Jira, Default Block/Path/Flow Link

 type.
