Issue/Introduction
If I do the remove from the 4.8 panels do I have to make the corresponding change in the SYSCHK1 DS or does that get updated when I remove them? (I made a copy of the $#STAT variables from 7.5 so I know I have them backed up.)

Resolution
If you can delete from the 4.8 panel, you will want to use the D (drop) line command on the highest node (ie. $#STAT.)
You can also use the backup REXX exec, make an additional copy and modify the code to remove all the 'T=' lines/instructions and then change the OPSVALUE subfunction from a U to a R and delete the 3rd arguement (the 'T') in the OPSVALUE instructions.
The SYSCHK1 dataset is automatically updated every 15 seconds by default, so no additional work for that.
